These hard-wearing leather gunslips come in a range of colours (Dark Brown, Mid Tan and Black) and textures, and can be top-loading, with a side zip or fully zipped for easy drying. The full-grain leather is 3mm deep and you can opt for hard (think ‘bridle leather’) or soft/tumbled and I have added some photos of the process, using a chocolate brown tumbled (soft) leather. Fleece-lined (with genuine lambskin fleece an optional extra), and sewn with linen thread, each stitch is hand-laid (not a machine in sight) and the blocked muzzle-end is double-stitched for strength and durability. Rifle slips are always foam lined for extra shock absorbtion. A shoulder strap comes as standard on both shotgun slips and rifle slips and, as per the final photo, rifle slips also come with handles.
As each leather gunslip is bespoke, any length or configuration of barrels can be accommodated. If possible, an outline of the shotgun or rifle traced on paper would be very helpful in terms of sizing.
I also make double gunslips, as per the photos below. These are linked by buckled straps so that they can also be used independently.
You can elect to personalise anywhere on the body of the gunslip and also on the muzzle-end for an extra £20.
